Hamlin Trick-or-Treat

I took Blake trick-or-treating in Hamlin tonight with my mom and my mother in law and OMG I have never seen a trick-or-treat like this one... I guess when you live in a small town and then thats how it is.... Because most places are spread out and there are some bad areas everyone gathers in this one area to take there little ones trick-or-treating... There was even a cop blocking the road so noone could drive through... I thought it was really neat and it made me wish I had grown up in a small town... It was such a happy and loving atmosphere... Like something in a movie... My mother in law loved showing Blake off to everyone she knew... She had so much fun and so did we... Blake seemed to be amazed by it all 2 he just sat back in the stroller, relaxed and watched everyone.... But Blake cried and whined alot on the way home because he was ready for his bath, his storys and his bed.... He was so tired.... Here are some pictures from tonight....

Crawling to Sitting!!!

Today Blake started going from crawling to sitting.... He is growing up to fast.... Whats next???? Probably something Mommy and Daddy are not ready for.... Here is a picture from last night he looks so sweet and innocent which he is... lol....

Blakes First Trick-or-Treat

For Blakes first trick-or-treat we went down 2 Grannys and went trick-or-treating... Mommy, Daddy,Granny, Crissy, JB, Hunter,Cole, Eva, Cassidy, and Xavier all went.... Blake had so much fun.... He drove his little car and he wouldn't keep his feet up so we had to ride him a wheely most of the time.... It got alittle chilly so we came home about 7:30.... We put socks on Blakes hands because Mommy couldn't find him any mittens... By the time we got home his hands were soaked and more cold then they were before we put the socks on his hands.... I guess that was bad idea.... Mommy, Daddy and Granny took turns taking him to the houses....

Into Everything!!!!!!!

All I want to know is why do parents spend so much money on toys when kids don't play with them hardly at all??? Well we love ours kids that's why.... Blake is going through this stage where he hardly wants to play with his toys he just wants to get into everything... He is all over the living room going from the couch to the end table to the TV stand to his toy crate and on and on trying to see what he can find... If he see something interesting he will try all he can to get it.... He is definitely all boy... Last night he saw these things laying on the couch that goes with our light bulb remover... He was trying to climb on the couch to get them it was so cute here are some pictures....

Then tonight he learned how to open the glass on the TV stand... Now how am I going to keep him outta that one??? If you have any ideas please let me know.... lol


He was also climbing on a toy trying to get the cell phone but by the time I got the camera he got down and just moved the trash can and got it... Don't worry we only let him play with the phone while we took a picture real quick because it was still plugged up as you can tell...

He is just getting pretty rotten.... But hey that's what boys are supposed to do... Daddy says he gets it from me but according to Mamaw Sharon Blake gets it from Daddy because she says when Daddy was younger he wouldn't sit and play with toys like the other kids he was always on the move... I told Daniel I was going to go get my tubes tied because we have our hands full enough.... But God knows that will never happen because I want at least 1 more..... But I will take as many as God gives me....

Halloween Pictures!!!

So last night was really cold... When I went to bed at 11 I noticed it was chilly in my room so I checked the thermostat and it was set on 75 but it was only 66 in the house... So I said Daniel I don't think the heat is working... So he checked everything.... Then he called the gas company... Well they said no outages have been reported... Daniel said duhhh because it is 11:30 at night people are probably in bed and havn't realized it yet... Well we knew the pilot light wasn't lite and the gas company wouldn't send anyone out to check it.... So we pack up and go to my moms to stay.... So I finally got in bed at 1 and Blake woke up at 6 scared because he wasn't quite sure where he was then he finally realized it but by then he was wide awake so I only got 5 hours sleep and that just isn't enough for me... So I was tired today... Anyways my Grandpa came out and figured out it was our thermostat so thank goodness the gas company didn't come after all because it would have been a waste.... So he fixed it and got it to work temproarly.. He is coming back out tomorrow evening to put in a new thermostat.... Thank goodness for Grandpa.... Uncle Michael's Party

Yesterday we went to Uncle Michaels Birthday party.... Blake had alot of fun and meet alot of new people... Like Michaels Grandparents, his dad and step-mom, his step- sister and one of Uncle Michaels friends.... We had fun...
